The Risograph is a stencil duplicator. Think of it as a cross between screen printing and photocopying. The machine prints one color at a time in bright, vibrant colors. It is ideal for posters, graphic prints, zines, comics, and other graphic arts as it provides a unique quality on touch.
All posters will be sent as soon as we can.
Biography of Loulou Picasso
Founding member of the group Bazooka in the mid-1970s within the French underground scene, Loulou Picasso, along with his accomplices Kiki Picasso, Lulu Larsen, Olivia Clavel, Bernard Vidal, T5dur and Jean Rouzaud - most of whom he met at the Beaux-Arts in Paris - created a work that was uncompromising, cold and provocative, a true graphic counterpoint to the punk movement. Their works are signed collectively or under numerous pseudonyms, thus depersonalizing the creative process. The avowed objective is to get out of the classical circuit of art works diffusion, at first via self-publishing, then by displaying themselves on supports accessible to the greatest number (record sleeves, TV credits, daily press and magazines...).
The group exploded at the end of the 70s, leaving behind an impressive body of drawings, collages, photomontages, paintings and publications whose influence will be primordial on the graphic creation to come. Widely considered as the starting point of French under-graphism, the Bazooka epic will also have spread to the side of contemporary art: the painters of the Figuration Libre will be willingly inspired by this energy to edit their first publications and the aesthetics developed today in the drawings of some leading young French artists undoubtedly takes its source at that time.
In the early 80's, Loulou Picasso published a few solo works and devoted himself to painting. In 2002, Kiki and Loulou got together to create unregardmoderne.com, a website where each contributor brings a graphic reaction to news items. This project will remain active until 2005, when Un Regard Moderne, the catalog of the eponymous exhibition presented at the Musée de l'Abbaye de Sainte-Croix (Sables d'Olonne) is published by Editions du Seuil, the first step towards institutional recognition.
Noted participation in the exhibition « Des Jeune Gens Mödernes » programmed in 2008 by the Galerie du Jour agnès B., Loulou Picasso and in 2011 in the « Europunk exhibition » presented at the Villa Medici in Rome. The works of the group Bazooka occupy a large place in this panorama of the visual punk culture in Europe from 1976 to 1980.
